Top Ten Thursdays
Every Thursday I am going to post my Top Ten of something. It can be my Top Ten ways to decorate a fireplace mantel to Top Ten books to read….
Todays it’s all about Summer….
I am so loving Summer. I love being able to stay up late at night watching movies, not having to worry about packing lunches for the next day, and just doing whatever we want when we want.
A couple of weeks before Ryan got out for school I looked on Pinterest for some awesome stuff to do this Summer. I love just sitting around watching movies but the best part of Summer is being outside. Or inside with the TV off.
So here are my Top Ten things to do this Summer (in no particular order)….
1.) I am so excited about this! And thankfully we have a big play area upstairs so we have the room for it without making the house look like a big mess.

2.) This is such a cute idea! Ryan loves stuff like this. He has an obsession with tall buildings, cell phone towers, freeways and electric towers. He loves building cities with his Lego’s and even makes the electric towers and freeways for them.

3.) One of the most important things to me to teach Ryan is about hard work. My husband is seriously the hardest working person I know and I love him for it. Because of his hard work we have a really nice house, live comfortably, and are able to do some awesome things. So I thought that it would be fun to do a Lemonade stand this Summer. And I will match whatever he makes because I am his mom and that is what moms do : )

4.) This screams a huge mess but what else is Summer for??

5.) Sidewalk paint : ) So fun to make and to use! And there are so many things that you can do with it (games, pictures, words, counting)….

6.) Ryan also wants me to buy him those crazy expensive stamps from Hobby Lobby. I wouldn’t mind buying them so much if I knew that he wouldn’t lose them but he is six so that is probably a lost cause : ) So when I saw this I thought “awesome”. These stickers are only a couple bucks at Walmart and would keep him entertained for hours.

7.) We have tons of soda bottles left over from Ryan’s birthday party that I was just going to throw out. That was until I saw this. I love this idea and it is so simple that I am mad I didn’t think about it earlier. We have cones that Ryan kicks over with his soccer ball so I know that this is a game he would love.

8.) Because what kid doesn’t like bubbles??

9.) This would be great for a rainy day. Especially if you combine it with idea #2 : )

10.) One of the ways I love decorating is with Ryan’s art work. I have it all over my house : ) And this would look awesome on my mantel or on my wall. I love that there are so many options to doing this. You can use bright colors, neutral colors, or even make a picture with the dots. Love this idea!
That is my Top Ten for this week : ) What do you have planned for this Summer? I would love more ideas! And don’t forget to go find me on Pinterest for more ideas….

Not gonna lie, I’m 21 and want to do at least 6 of these! Hahaha.
I love the chalk paint idea!
