I know it’s been forever since I’ve blogged. It’s been crazy around here.

The first week I was gone was because Ryan was really sick. He spiked a 102 temperature so I took him to the doctor who diagnosed him with pneumonia. So I kept him out of school all week. We were told that he needed to rest but that he could do light play. So we sat in bed and played with Lego’s, action figures, and colored. After a couple of days we spent the days in the living room watching movies, play with play-dough, and more Lego’s.

Then my hubby went to Egypt for a week. A riot that killed twenty people started right outside of his hotel. I always have anxiety when he travels and that just made it skyrocket.  Thankfully he made it home on Friday.

This weekend was fun. I promised Ryan that if he did good in school all week I would take him swimming so that is what we did on Saturday. We went to Target and got him some new swim trunks, goggles, and some toys for the pool. And then we spent four hours swimming. We both have sunburn even after putting on sunblock every break. But he had a blast and we were both exhausted at the end of the day so it was worth it! Makes me look even for forward to this Summer!
